It is with great pleasure that SCAA updates our supporters and Quasi’s generous donors with some wonderful news - Quasi is adopted.
Quasimodo heals well...
Quasimodo’s surgery to remove an infected, injured eye was a great success (thanks Dr James!) and Quasi recovered nicely. Quasi was clearly more comfortable and happier with his new look - relaxing and cuddling, as these one-eyed Quasi pictures attest.

...and finds a new permanent home!
When a long-time pet owner searched the SCAA Adoption Gallery for a friend for his 6-year-old cat, Mao, he felt Quasi was the right match.
Mao and Quasi were cautiously introduced shortly after Quasi arrived home and settled under the bed. Mao casually made the first move – touching noses. The cats quickly reached a mutual understanding: there is plenty of room at this house for two rescued Tom cats who enjoy lounging around, a lot. After just a couple of days, Quasi and Mao were even expending some energy playing together and Quasi was approaching his new family for some attention and companionship. We couldn’t ask for a better start for Quasi’s new lease on life.

Everyone at SCAA is grateful to donors for contributing towards Quasi’s medical care, foster parents for opening their home to an injured cat, and to Quasi’s adopter for seeing the great pet possibilities in him.
