My name is Snowy and I'm a beautiful 7-year-old Persian princess looking for a new home. I'm originally from New York where my owner pampered me with my favorite food and lavished me with attention. I came to Shanghai where we enjoyed quality time together until my owner had to relocate to a place where I couldn't travel easily. I am playful when I want to be - a laser pointer is the best thing to get me active, and I can last longer than any cat half my age! But I do enjoy lazing around the house on the sofa, a chair or on the bed a lot of the time. I'm a proven well-behaved pet and enjoy being brushed to keep my long coat nice and soft. I purr when you pet me but don't like being picked up. I can be a bit picky about my food - I prefer a certain brand and smaller amounts at a time so my bowl stays fresh. My gentle and quiet demeanor is great for those who join me in a full night's sleep and even a cat nap in the afternoons. My ideal home is a quiet one, without kids. The only time I put on a bad attitude is when I go to the vet. I am scared, angry and usually need to be sedated to be properly examined. Something to keep in mind if a home vet visit isn't easily arranged. Treated for fleas / mites, spayed, vaccinated and full blood tests (all good).
